JOURNALISM
I am currently Features Editor at Norman Records. New work of mine is uploaded to the website's Features page on a weekly basis, including weekly and monthly listicles on new music releases.
Some personal highlights of my work for Norman include
-
Co-ordinating Norman's Twenty-Fifth Anniversary series. This saw me write pieces on Jenny Hval's 'Apocalypse, girl' and BEAK>'s '>>' as well as retrospective articles on the musical trends of 1996.
-
Writing Norman's end-of-year reviews, mid-year reviews as well as the website's 'Albums of the Decade' feature at the end of the 2010s.
-
Several entries into Norman's '5 Key Records' series including pieces on Nick Cave, Death Grips, Radiohead and Sleater-Kinney.
- Numerous other feature series, all of which are accessible from Norman's Features page.
